Christmas Sweater – The Star Product of the Year
The "ugly Christmas sweater" has become a cult favourite in the world of sports as well.
The tradition of the Christmas sweater day, which originated in America, is "celebrated" every year on the third Friday of December. Its goal is to bring a little cheer into the year-end rush and which is a stressful period for many. Today, you can find iconic Christmas sweaters in almost every sport, and contrary to the usual Christmas patterns, old jersey designs can now also be found in the graphics.
This year, Honvéd FC also featured the design of a former iconic jersey on their sweater. It was inspired by the home jersey used between 1994 and 1996—we drew from the original stripes and pattern, replacing the Gösser inscription with Holiday and the jersey manufacturer's logo with the word "Advent." We preserved the details characteristic of the jersey in the sweater, such as the silhouette and the font, thus bringing both nostalgia and holiday cheer.
This year, Újpest aligned the spirit of their Christmas sweater with their new 140th-anniversary collection. The sweater design matches the other elements of the collection, decorated with Christmas motifs. The great success of the Újpest 140 collection thus did not stop at Christmastime.
Christmas Ornaments and Decorations
The category of Christmas tree and home decorations is often undervalued, yet club-logo ornaments, engraved decorations and figurines, door wreaths, and the popular "mini jersey" decorations consistently rank high in Christmas sales year after year. These products hold extremely high emotional value for fans, as they allow them to incorporate their passion for the club into important family moments. Because they are available for a limited time, they are guaranteed to sell quickly and contribute significantly to increasing December turnover.
A unique feature is that, similar to real ornaments, the ornaments we create are also made of glass, making them not only more valuable but also more beautiful compared to plastic ones.
Socks
Socks with Christmas patterns or club colors are always popular, practical, and humorous. As a child, everyone has received socks from a family member and wasn't exactly thrilled. However, as time goes on, socks can actually be a great gift. Not to mention that patterned socks have been experiencing a golden age for the past few years. Why would a club exclude this simple but excellent promotional item from its Christmas products or webshop offering?
This year, we produced Christmas socks with new designs for several of our partners, which were a huge success from the day they hit the shop or webshop. Not to mention that these socks were made with the same pattern as the Christmas sweaters, meaning they can even be sold as a set.
Gift Packages
To make gifting easier, fans specifically look for ready-made packages. Not to mention that people love "unboxing" content on the internet, so we cannot go wrong if we design beautifully arranged and carefully pre-packaged gifts for the holidays. A big advantage of gift packages is that we can also move less popular products through them, as we can pair them with anything when it comes to the content of the packages. These are the types of products that can be featured in a fan shop's offering all year round, as winter continues even after the holidays. Knitted fan scarves also play a role in the stands, making them a top-selling product throughout the year.
For Christmas, these products can also be made with festive patterns, giving them a more special appearance. Not to mention the iconic Santa hat, which can also be branded with a logo or custom-designed.
Christmas Candy and Advent Calendar
Let's not forget a key, specifically Hungarian Christmas product: the Szaloncukor (traditional Hungarian Christmas candy). Although it might seem unusual on the merchandise palette at first, Christmas candy, provided with a club logo and unique packaging, offers several advantages for increasing revenue and brand building. It is an excellent gift idea from the club to partners and sponsors. Not to mention that many types can be made.
A few years ago, everyone thought of the small Advent calendar, usually hiding chocolate, when hearing the term. However, today they can hold anything. Naturally, the classic candy versions are still popular, but during this period, we can be bold and create a calendar filled with the fans' small favourites.

Many people think that a tiny plastic card shows a lack of creativity from the giver. However, it can be one of the most valuable gifts for a fan.
